In 1978, KISS released the compilation album Double Platinum, the album is a compilation album with songs from all KISS studio albums that had been released up to that point. They also took the opportunity to record/remix the song STRUTTER and named it STRUTTER 78 on this album. That the album was a double album is quite obvious from the name of the album. That they were so sure that the record would sell in large editions indicates both the name of the record and the inserts that were included in the release. They had simply sent a small miniature plaque that you could fill in with your own name and frame as a thank you for helping KISS sell and achieve Double Platinum status.
